But Netgear does state that it can attain a speed of max 400 Mbps over 2.4GHz band and 866 Mbps over the 5GHz band. They also told that along with one router and a satellite, this device can cover an area of 3000 square feet with Wi-Fi.
The Orbi Router has two Ethernet ports; with the help of it,you can connect only two devices at a time for a wired connection. So, if your requirement is to connect more than two devices with an Ethernet cable then, you shouldn’t probably go for this new device. Anyhow, if you like to control your home network with voice-enabled devices such as Amazon’s Alexa or Google assistance then, this router isextremely compatible with them.
Enough said about the specification of the product. Now, we shall discuss the price of this device. Earlier we have told you about Netgear Orbi Mesh Wi-Fi 6. Well, it cost you $699, which is justified for the services it is providing. This router is cheaper thus, it will costyou $149 for a set of two (RBK12) at Walmart (we presume that this is the only place you can actually purchase this product from). There are set of three (RBK13) priced at $ 229, a set of four (RBK14) is said to be coming soon by Netgear.
